We seek to bring together and organize women from different backgrounds and sectors that share the same ideals as the League. We design and propose a variety of projects related to research, education, organization and communication. In order to advance our different projects we work together to efficiently achieve our purpose. .
We work in the North and South of our country with displaced women and other survivors of the socio-political conflict that our country is currently dealing with. In the North, we work with women located in the Caribbean region, the Department of Bolivar and in the Cartagena de Indias , San Juan de Nepomuceno, San Jacinto and Montes de Maria municipalities. We also work in the South of Colombia, in the Meta region. In Bogota , the political and administrative center of the country, we collaborate with organizations and individuals that work with the social movement of women and human rights, and together share the struggle against poverty and the fight for social justice.

Colombia has been one of the countries that has received the most resolutions on the part of LIMPAL in the world.

COLOMBIA LIMPAL for 2012 continue to work hard in pursuit of strategies to achieve peace territories for women with social justice and against all discrimination. Promote actions in favor of non-violence against women.
In the region of Bolivar will work with projects aimed at reducing violence against women (GBV Gender-Based Violence) and encouraging women to live against the war and seeking equality, justice and dignity of all women. In the department of Meta in 2011, we carried out projects such as Women are earth: A roof over my bed in search of a decent life for the defense and promotion of the rights of displaced women affected by internal conflict, for gender justice and against war. As we will bet institutional actions to promote and implement the resolutions of the Security Council of UN 1325, 1820 and others relating to the safety of women in our country. Also we will continue campaigning for disarmament goals by joining the international WILPF.
